Having finally viewed the clips of her in a French maid outfit & the Slave Leia outfit (and also her biting a hot dog, which drew over 6 million viewers on Youtube), I still don’t get what’s so hot about this woman.
That said, I’m still shocked that she’s getting a trial run as a TDS correspondent.
One day, I will write about my feelings concerning this article, and I’ll reference my own experiences around The Daily Show without changing names and shrouding details, but I’m waiting to have a career worth writing a showbiz memoir about, and for doctors to invent a new kind of blood pressure medication that makes you not hold grudges/ generally be furious.
My group Dearly Beloved has been on a roll lately. We’ve had a few shows lately (2 Test Drives @ the Magnet, 1 appearance at the Spring Up The Creek Improv Camp), but tonight we’lll be having one impromptu show at 10:05pm in the basement of the Triple Crown Restaurant. It’s impromptu because we literally organized it on Friday afternoon - mainly because we wanted to get 1 last show in before one of the members in our group - Austin Smith - flies out to his hometown of San Francisco on Wednesday to undergo open heart, valve-replacement surgery and spends the next 2 months recovering.
We all love the dude a ton and we felt like having 1 more show with him would be the best gift we could give him, especially since we’ve been rehearsing this form together since last November. As for why it’s at 10:05pm and not 10, one of the other performers - Megan Gray - finishes teaching her Magnet Level 1 class at 10, so she’ll be running over & bringing her class with her.

Week 1 of my marathon training is in the books. I had a bottle of lemon-flavored Amino Vital in one hand and my iPod nano in the other. Between mile 3 & mile 4, I put my bottle down, since I knew I was gonna turn around & run back after mile 5.
As the miles increase, I’m going to have to train with a Fuel Belt. But otherwise, I felt pretty good about my pacing today, especially in the heat.
On Tuesday, we shot publicity photos for Rubin in the basement of the Triple Crown Restaurant with Jeremy Bales. We came dressed as several different characters for the shoot.
