Ooooo girl, that is some Shadow Over Innsmouth business right THERE!

This made me throw up in my mouth a little.

I hate that this is the last thing I look at right before I go to bed.  Seriously,
WHATTHEFUCK?!?

This was due for a while, but thanks to that GoDaddy promo that’s running at the moment (99 cent domains!), the time was right to get the domain.  And I still like Tumblr.

It’d be cool if you follow us, okay?  Cool!

Quentin Tarantino’s Star Wars (dir. Evan Mather, 1998)

I remember watching this in college back in ‘98, a year after the Star Wars Trilogy was re-released in theaters with additional scenes and “The Phantom Menace” was a year away.  When I first saw this, I thought, “This is the most amazing thing ever done with action figures!”  Obviously, I didn’t see a lot of films with action figures at that point, but the nerd in me was stoked beyond belief.

I’m actually pretty glad to see that Evan Mather is still out there making more short films, even if they don’t involve any Lando & Obi-Wai action figures making out.

Alan Wilder reunites with Depeche Mode for one song onstage in London.

Seriously, this makes me really happy to see this.  Now if he were to go back & record a new DM album with them, this would be epic.

About to make some casserole right now & I thought of this article.

You SOCK nerds wanna be startin’ something?  :-p
I simply wanted to reblog what I thought was a nice little candid of Jim behind the scenes, even if everythinginthesky had an somewhat amusing take on the photo.
Schooling?  Don’t fuck with me, Short.  I just had a great intense workout & I’d rather focus my energy on UFC 110.

Look at my man Louie schooling Binu on Muppeteering.
And really, even if a Muppeteer only did just Ernie’s right arm that is still a million-times-more-cooler job than the one you have.

Just the right one.”“Just the right one?”“Yeah.”“Wow. I, uh… great. That’s… great.” “Yeah.”“…Yeah. Listen, I’m gonna go get, uh…”“Yeah.”

Actually, that’s Richard Hunt right handing for Henson.  He was a very accomplished and trusted puppeteer in his own right and is known for being the puppeteer behind Scooter, Janice and Sesame Street’s Glady’s the cow.  Apparently right arming for a muppet is a very difficult position and the two performers have to have a lot of trust in each other and be very well coordinated. Don’t fuck with my man Hunt.

I always hear this song & think, “A really good looking couple is fucking the shit out of each other right now & making a ton of loud noises in their room.”  And I’m the neighbor that can’t sleep because of the loud noises.

Maybe it’s just the places I go to, but I don’t hear enough Junior Boys, especially this song.  Anyone else?

Not coincidental, but it’s also my birthday.

Scorsese in his great films goes beneath the surface and gives us the gritty soul of his characters. But when he makes rock movies, he’s Joe Fanboy. He’s fucking Chris Farley on Saturday Night Live interviewing Paul McCartney.

Jim Derogatis on The Last Waltz

That’s what I love about Jim. He doesn’t pull any punches unlike most music critics today, no matter how much you may disagree about it.That’s what I love about Jim. He doesn’t pull any punches unlike most music critics today, no matter how much you may disagree about it.
